PATRAINDONESIA.COM-(JAKARTA)- Peristiwa Demontrasi besar-besaran mahasiswa turun kejalan pada tahun 1998 diperingati oleh para aktivis 98 dengan mengadakan acara di Ballroom hotel JS Luwansa, Jakarta, Minggu, 21/05/2023.
Acara tersebut selain menampilkan pameran foto-foto dokumentasi peristiwa 1998 juga melaunching Yayasan 98 Peduli yang merupakan gerakan kemanusiaan dan sosial yang menjadi kontrol terhadap kebijakan pemerintah.
Dari pantauan PatraIndonesia.com pukul 16.42 WIB. sejumlah aktivis sudah hadir mereka tampak melepas kangen bersama rekan sekampusnya dengan berbincang-bincang santai disekitar lokasi acara.
Tak hanya pameran foto saja sejumlah almamater dari berbagai universitas ikut serta dipamerkan dipajang dengan boneka manekin.
Acara rencana akan dimulai pukul 19.00 WIB, sejumlah pejabat rencana akan turut hadir dalam acara tersebut diikuti juga mahasiswa lintas generasi dari berbagai kampus.
Menurut pers release yang mereka berikan kepada wartawan mereka melakukan pertemuan sebanyak 12 kali yang dimulai pada 01 April 2023 lalu untuk bersepakat membentuk lembaga kemanusiaan dan sosial yakni Yayasan 98 Peduli.(Van/002/red/PI)
